where I77 and I70 meet, Guernsey county was formerly a transportation hub on the 19th century canal and railroad networks.

City of Cambridge is a hub for the community; but there are active smaller communities in Byesville and New Concord (childhood home of astronaut and Senator John Glenn).

Historic African American community in Cambridge.  New immigrants from Mexico, Central and South American nations; and Asian communities give Cambridge a cosmopolitan feel.
